An Electrical engineer, since 2015 head of production & appliances of Axel Springer SE printing house Druckhaus Spandau. Besides, he is responsible for the economic and technical development of the printing house as well as for the development of new strategies of the personal organization, new structures of the quality management and the setting of improvement processes.

After graduating as an electrical engineer/news technology at the University RWTH Aachen he worked in the department of technical commercial marketing of semi-conductor IC’s at Valvo Philipps. In 1990 he joined as a directional assistant of Axel Springer’s board of directors in Hamburg. There he was involved in the planning of printing houses in Leipzig, Rostock and Berlin. Regarding the new printing plant in Berlin Spandau he was responsible for the project management of IT and control systems.
After Druckhaus Spandau’s start of operation he has worked in various occupations such as Head of IT, Head of production planning followed by Head of the rotary department until now – leading production manager of the printing house.

His focusses were set on process automation, process optimization, efficient use of personnel, efficient personnel development, new management systems and shaping the process of co-founding the printing house as a subsidiary in 2015.
