GateHouse Media recently announced the creation a new, central consumer marketing agency to drive consumer marketing revenue and develop new and innovative products and experiences. The top priority of this agency will be to grow their digital subscription base across all 144 of their daily newspapers. The Day (New London, CT), has been at this for longer than most, launching their digital subscription model back in 2011. Today they have 14,600 subscribers with revenue approaching $2MM. Their total audience database contributes another $1MM in marketing services revenue.
