Prem Panicker is an Indian cricket journalist. He was one of a handful of journalists who helped found Rediff (Nasdaq: REDF). He was based in New York City, as editor of India Abroad, the largest Indian-American newspaper, after that paper was bought by Rediff. He was the former managing editor at Yahoo! India and is currently based in Bangalore. He translated the book Randamoozham from Malayalam - it is a well received book called Bhimsen, that explores the mahabharata through the viewpoint of Bhima.fda

Video Journalist and documentary film maker

Veda Shastri is a video journalist and documentary filmmaker. She is currently a contributingstory producer for National Geographic. She was earlier a producer at The New York Times, for her work at the NYT she has won an Online Journalism Award and an Edward R. Murrow Award. She reported and produced over 100 stories for the New York Times, from the nuclear power plant in Fukushima, Japan, inside a Black Hawk in Puerto Rico, to the lava fields of Iceland. She also produced a series on food scarcity in Venezuela, the series “Genocide’s Legacy,” as well as “Return to Mosul,” a family’s journey home to former ISIS territory in Iraq. Prior to joining the Times, Veda co-produced the VR documentary, “Return to Chernobyl” for PBS Frontline, which was nominated for an Online Journalism Award. She also directed the 2017 documentary short, “Ladies Only.” Veda earlier worked as a news producer at CNN-IBN, a television news channel headquartered in New Delhi, for 5 years, producing live news bulletins and special programming. Hailing from Boston, she has an MA from New York University’s Journalism and Documentary Film program, and a BA in Anthropology from Tufts University.

Rituparna Chatterjee is an intersectional feminist editor with 16 years of experience working across media platforms, including digital, print and wire services. She covers press freedom in the sub-continent for Reporters Without Borders, writes for multiple Indian and foreign media organisations on a range of subjects under the umbrella of gender based violence, and is the Director of Communications for the legal advisory firm, Ungender Legal Advisory focused on building inclusive workplaces. Rituparna is a workplace sexual harassment prevention campaigner and leverages social media platforms to build safe conversation circles on work, gender, feminism and violence.
