Angus is Vice President of International Events at Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal - a role he assumed in 2017, after almost twelve years with Dow Jones in a variety of event based roles, initially starting as an Events Assistant in 2008 for Financial News - another Dow Jones title.
Angus has full accountability and responsibility for overseeing all event & experience management for the full Dow Jones product suite outside of the US including -The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s Group, the Professional Information Business and the Corporate Group - leading a team of twelve based in London and Hong Kong.
While Angus ensures the successful delivery of all events within his regions - his key focus are the flagship conferences/events that are hosted within his regions - most notably the pop up Journal House concept which he and the team recently produced at the 2020 World Economic Forum in Davos - a concept also previously showcased in Cannes and Singapore.
Before joining Dow Jones Angus worked in a number of hospitality and event management roles for firms including - Visa Europe, Carnival Cruises and Langham Hotels.
