Mr. Bambang Harymurti serves as CEO of PT Tempo Inti Media Tbk since May 29, 2007. He also serves as Company’s Corporate Chief Editor. He was Company's Director from 1999 to 2006 and Vice President Director from 2006 to May 29, 2007.

He attended the Friendly Free Press Fellow internship course of Time magazine. In 1987, he was the Bureau Chief of Tempo Magazine in Bandung and became the Bureau Chief in Jakarta from 1987 to 1989. He became the Bureau Head of Tempo in Washington, USA, until 1994.

When Tempo was republished in 1998, he was appointed as Deputy Editor in Chief and a year later, he was appointed as the Chief Editor of Tempo Magazine. He was the Chief Editor of Koran Tempo in 2001. He was Editor of Harian Media Indonesia and Member of the Press Council.

HArymurti graduated from Institut Teknologi Bandung in 1984 and from J.F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, in 1991.
