Jana Moser is an innovation and privacy expert. She gives advice regarding data, innovation and regulation. As attorney she also answers questions concerning data protection and privacy. Previously, she was with Axel Springer SE as Head of Data Innovation, where she lead a group-wide data strategy project with focus on business and strategy.

From 2007 Jana Moser worked as a so called knowledge architect at knowledgeTool International GmbH in Berlin before she was legal counsel and privacy officer at studiVZ, a former popular German social network. From 2011 she worked as inhouse legal counsel at Axel Springer SE for more than 2 years and investment manager for 1,5 years. As legal counsel she gave advice in particular concerning IT law, data protection and various online web and mobile services. Aside from that, she supported a digital product portfolio with special consideration of data protection laws as well as new digital innovations and ideas like bitcoin and blockchain.

From 2008-2010 Jana Moser wrote her doctorate thesis about “Browser games and client-based online games – The contractual relationship between provider and user” at European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder).

Since September 2017 she supports Spirit Legal LLC as of-counsel.
