Esther Vera is editor of the newspaper ARA since January 2016. She is a journalist and political scientist specializing in international relations. Her work as a journalist began on the radio, as a correspondent in Paris for the Catalunya Radio. She was also correspondent in Washington for the newspaper Avui, where she also collaborated with ComRàdio and other written media. From 2000 to 2004 she was TV3 editor and presenter of the informative Món33, and in this same period she was professor of the master in journalism BCNY, at the University of Barcelona and the University of Columbia of New York. In 2004 she was delegate in Catalonia of the 24h CNN+ news channel, and of the Cuatro news programmes, and between 2008 and 2011 she also collaborated in the Catalonia edition of the newspaper El País.
