Etienne Millien has been a journalist for 20 years in the UK, the US and France. As a Wall Street Correspondent for Bloomberg TV, he covered the 2008 Financial Crisis and its expansion worldwide. He then worked as Assignment Desk Editor in London before returning to France and joining Sud Ouest newspaper, in Bordeaux. Since 2013, as well as working as a local reporter, he has been spearheading media-education projects for the association of French Regional Newspapers in France where he has been supporting the development of media education in schools in the country, especially through National Press Week. Under the umbrella of the new Alliance of French Newspapers, he will focus their actions on news literacy towards young adults.
