Jessica Stahl is the director of audio at The Washington Post, where she oversees a team developing popular podcasts like “Can He Do That?” and “Constitutional,” and experimenting in audio storytelling with programs like “Letters From War” and “Retropolis.” The Washington Post was also one of the first news organisations to produce audio specifically for smart speakers with “The Daily 202’s Big Idea,” and continues to pioneer around audio programming, as well as delivery and monetization strategies.
Jessica previously was The Post’s deputy editor for audience, focusing on community-building and digital-first storytelling, as well as the implementation of smart digital strategy. Prior to joining The Post, she was the social media editor at the Voice of America. Jessica has an MA from Johns Hopkins Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, and an AB from Princeton University.
