Jorge Carrasco is director of Proceso, the largest magazine on politics in México. He has a master's degree in journalism by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the daily EL PAÍS. He was international correspondent for the Mexican News Agency in Santiago de Chile and reporter on international trade for the newspaper El Economista, in Mexico City. In the newspaper Reforma, he was a reporter of the investigative unite, working on corruption and transnational crime. He has been part of investigations of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalism (ICIJ). Panama Papers, among them. As a reporter in Proceso, he covered justice and security issues for 15 years.
