In 1991, José  joined Multimedios América under a “Young Professionals” program. In that company he became Executive Director of the News Division, being in charge of the operation of the newspaper El Cronista Comercial, Radio América, Radio Del Plata, CVN and El Noticiero de América 2. In 1997 he joined La Gaceta to carry out a process of reengineering the company. Since then, he has continued at the head of the newspaper as General Manager.
