JP Ong is SPH Radio's MONEY FM Finance presenter for “The Curve.” A self-confessed markets monkey, JP tracks how markets move across the globe – from the last hours of trading in Singapore and Asia leading up to the open in Europe and the US every afternoon – and fleshing out how markets and economies across the world are becoming more and more interconnected with each other.

Prior to joining SPH Radio, JP cut his teeth as the markets anchor for Bloomberg TV Philippines in Manila – where he provided real-time coverage and tracking of Philippine and regional markets using the Bloomberg Terminal as well as interviewed some of the country’s top fund managers, CEOs, industry analysts and economic officials. Deciding he needed a break from daily studio makeup, JP swapped the camera for a radio microphone and hasn’t looked back since.
