Founder & CEO, Mexico MediaLab 21, Mexico
Since September 2014, she has been the founding CEO of Mexico Media Lab S21, which is a think tank that specializes in doing research about the use of ICTs and using it to imagine and implement disruptive projects that provoke innovation in both the public and private sector in Mexico. From 2009 to 2014 she was Editorial VP in Grupo Expansión, being responsible for the content of the 17 magazines and 11 websites that the firm manages, as well as the editorial content of the brand extensions.
Rossana was the first woman to be the editor of the business section in “El Financiero” newspaper. She has been deputy director of special affairs and investigation in “Reforma” newspaper, and director of opinion pages in “El Universal” newspaper. All of this three are among the most important newspapers in Mexico. She hosted the TV show “Contrapunto” in Televisa and has collaborated in international publications like “The New York Times”, “The Washington Post” and other syndicated media in the United States.
