Yesid Lancheros is a journalist from the University of Bucaramanga, with a Master's Degree in Political Communication from Externado University in Colombia. He did his internship in the Spanish newspaper EL PAIS. He worked over 12 years at the EL TIEMPO, where he was correspondent in Cúcuta and the border with Venezuela, night legal editor, researcher in the Bogota section and editor of ELTIEMPO.COM. He has received training in investigative journalism in Peru, Brazil, Ecuador and Costa Rica. He is currently the Director of the Information System of Canal Capital, and a professor at the Externado University.
