Mr Jónsson joined Iceland Post in June 2019. He has extensive management and operations experience in both Iceland and overseas. Mr Jónsson was area manager for Össur in Asia, with offices in Hong Kong; the Managing Director & CEO of Iceland Express and later the Vice Managing Director & CEO of WOW air. He lived and worked for a number of years in Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary, where he was the Managing Director & CEO of Infopress Group, one of the largest printers in Eastern Europe. In addition, Mr Jónsson has been involved in numerous projects involving restructuring and transformation together with running his own business and working as a professional musician. Mr Jónsson has an MBA from the University of Westminster in London and a BA (Hons) from the University of the Arts London.
