Blending a strong background in digital and marketing with proven success in launching and managing innovative assets, Frédérique Lancien held several executive positions within international companies including Lagardère and Bertelsmann.

Her background involves running digital properties, executing new product launch programs, as well as planning and executing technologically savvy e-commerce strategies.
After 5 years in book publishing, she joined Bertelsmann in 1998 to launch the BOL.fr e-commerce website dedicated to books, music and video, as editorial and sales director.
She joined the Lagardère Active Group in 2000 as e-commerce international manager to develop e-commerce activities in France, the United-States and Japan.

She became Senior licensing and new media marketing manager in 2003, in charge of defining and implementing the worldwide licensing marketing strategy for the ELLE clothing and accessories brand and of coordinating the Group’s Internet websites. She then worked as Lagardère Active’s international digital director from 2007 to 2011, being responsible for global digital strategy in 11 countries and launch of Doctissimo websites outside France.

She joined L'Equipe Group (the leading sports media group in France) beginning of 2012 where she served as Digital and New Business Director. She managed marketing strategy and business development for all digital assets and was in charge of identifying new growth opportunities and launching new activities around sports’ practice, conferences & events. She also developed paid content offers and implemented acquisition and loyalty programs. She was appointed Strategy and New Business Director of L’Equipe group beginning of 2015.
