He has worked for the newspaper EL PAÍS since 2006 in different sections. In 2015 he was appointed a correspondent in Colombia (where he covered the end of the peace process), the Andean region and Venezuela, based in Bogotá. In 2017, he arrived as a correspondent for Mexico and Central America. This 2020 he was appointed deputy director of EL PAÍS América.
