Supriya Sharma is the Executive Editor of Scroll.in, an independent digital news organisation known for its investigative reportage and critical commentary. Supriya has previously worked with NDTV and The Times of India as a correspondent based in Mumbai, Bihar and Chhattisgarh. She has extensively reported on politics, conflict and social change, winning several awards for her reportage, including the Ramnath Goenka Award, the Chameli Devi Jain Award for Outstanding Woman Journalist, the humanitarian reporting award by the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Press Institute of India. She is a former Fellow of the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford. Supriya lives in New Delhi.
