Ayu Purwarianti is co-founder of Prosa.ai, a start-up working on natural language processing, speech processing and vision. She has 20 years of experience in natural language processing, especially in Indonesian language processing.

As an associate professor at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia, she has written more than 100 scientific paper on the subject. At ITB, she is now the head of the Artificial Intelligence Center and the head of the Doctoral program for Electrical Engineering and Informatics. She is a past chairwoman of Indonesian Association for Computational Linguistics.
