Ben Cotton has worked as Vice President, Product at The New York Times since August 2019. In his role, he manages a group responsible for building new product features to increase reader engagement. He has been at The Times since 2014, previously leading teams in charge of Retention & Customer Experience and Product Marketing, after starting as a member of the Corporate Strategy group. Prior to The Times, he worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. He graduated from Columbia, and is on the board of trustees of the Columbia Spectator.
