Before he became News Product Partnerships Lead (DACH/Benelux/Nordics) at Google in May 2018 he helped to setup the Digital News Innovation Fund stimulating innovation and demonstrating new thinking in the European digital news ecosystem. In 2017 he finished a doctoral thesis at the Centre for Digital Cultures affiliated to Leuphana University. He previously worked as a Manager for ZEIT ONLINE/DIE ZEIT and the German Press Agency (DPA).
