Since 2009, as an executive board member, Cristina Soares manages the transformation of Público, aiming at a sustainable business model based on digital, as this Portuguese Newspaper remains a national reference for journalism quality, innovative company and corporative efficiency. She runs also other companies in the group, in radio, printing and distribution.
Previously, Cristina worked with Bonança Assurance, ELF OIL Portugal, HCB - Cahora Bassa Hydroelectric Mozambique and Siderurgia Nacional Portugal, as controller, organizational advisor and corporate conversion process. Cristina joined the Board of WAN-IFFRA in 2017. She has a Master and MBA from ISCTE Lisbon.
