Irene Gentle is Editor of the Toronto Star, the first woman to hold this position in the history of the newspaper. She has held the positions of Managing Editor, City Editor and Business Editor during her time at the Star. Previously Irene was at the the Hamilton Spectator, as news editor. She also worked as City Editor, Business Editor, and Saturday Editor in her six years there.
