Jukka Niva is the Head of Media Lab at Yle News & Current Affairs. He is responsible for the unit that develops new forms of journalism, new services and programs at Yle (Finnish Broadcasting Company). Jukka will be a three-month visiting fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington DC in summer 2018, focusing on how political power is used in the digital society and how that affects news media.He served previously as the Yle News Acting Editor-in-chief, Head of Business News Desk, TV1 Business News host, TV1 morning show host, and foreign news reporter covering all topics and especially Iran.
