Katherine Kuan is Vice President of Convergence Business Department, United Daily News Group, which is one of the largest media groups in Taiwan. She is responsible for branded content business and the development of subscription systems for specific user groups.

Prior to this, she was the deputy editor-in-chief of United Daily News and VP of New Media Center. She was responsible for applying new technologies to innovate storytelling and assisting in the digital transformation of newsroom.

Katherine Kuan graduated from the Law School of National Taiwan University, but she is much more enthusiastic about the media. She completed her graduate studies in Annenberg School of Communication, University of Southern California, US. She is passionate about various forms of media. She has served as radio DJ, magazine reporter, TV station executive, and documentary film producer. She has also published four books.
