Kent is the Head of Technology for REDHILL in Singapore, where he works with a portfolio of blockchain and cryptocurrency clients across Asia.

Kent was born in British Columbia, Canada. He attended the University of Calgary and in 2006 received a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in International Business and a minor in History, leading to his first job at SilverKey Technologies as product manager in Cairo, Egypt for 1 year. His job was to manage the development of an enterprise solution for the US branch of AIESEC.

After finishing up in Egypt, he was offered a job as the Chief Technology Officer with GoldenPay in Baku, Azerbaijan in October 2007. GoldenPay’s main focus was to implement the first online payment system in the country.
