Koreel comes with nearly two decades of experience in media investing,
strategy and editorial. At MDIF, he is responsible for the firm's
investment mandate in South Asia. Before this, as COO of IPS Media
Foundation, he focused on developing a robust eco-system for independent
media, and managed a $20 million corpus targeting the next generation of
digital news companies. Koreel previously served as General Manager at
BCCL's strategic investment arm, SpringBoard, investing in consumer goods &
services businesses. He has also held senior editorial roles with Bloomberg
TV India and CNBC-TV18, and advised several digital companies on strategy,
product development and fundraising.
