Marie-Claire Fennessy is the Head of the Live Desk at Reuters, leading LIVE editorial coverage across the globe and the development of the service. During her 12 years at Reuters, she has been based across two main hubs in London and Singapore, and has travelled the globe as a field journalist on high profile assignments including the G8 summit, protests in Germany and in Thailand, and Pope Francis’ trip to the Philippines. Since assuming the role of Live Editor, Marie-Claire has become the editorial lead in expanding the Reuters Live service which, under her guidance, now provides up to six concurrent live streaming channels, offering a huge variety of content for Broadcasters, and online / digital media sites.
