Natashya Gutierrez is Editor-in-Chief of VICE World News in APAC. In her role, she oversees teams in Australia, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Korea and Japan, and is growing VICE's coverage across Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, and Thailand. Prior to this, she spent seven years as an multimedia journalist reporting on human rights and women’s issues in Southeast Asia, as Regional Correspondent for Rappler. She has been awarded several journalism fellowships including the 2015 Asian Journalism Fellowship in Singapore. Natashya received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Yale University, and was a Yale Journalism Scholar.
