Corinne Podger is a module leader. She has worked as a journalist for over 30 years across radio, TV and online, primarily for the BBC and Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Since 2013 she has worked as a training consultant and journalism educator, and has supported learning outcomes for more than 3000 journalists and NGO communicators. Past clients include: the Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union, Thomson Reuters Foundation, the Financial Times, the World Association of Newspaper Editors, the BBC, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism. Corinne also covers future of news and digital media news for the European Journalism Observatory and the International Journalists’ Network, and speaks regularly at conferences including the International Journalism Festival and the International Mobile Journalism Festival.
