Podcasting for Publishers Podcasts are an exciting area of growth in digital journalism in 2019 and offer unique opportunities for publishers to grow new audiences and build revenue. This intensely practical one-day workshop led by former BBC World Service journalist and producer Corinne Podger will introduce you to every aspect of podcasting.

What will I learn?

You will learn how to tailor podcast content for specific audiences, how to map series and episodes, how to record and edit audio and add music and sound effects. You will build skills in audio interviewing, script-writing and voice presentation. And you will be shown how to publish your podcast online, and receive tips and resources on distribution and monetization. The training will also introduce you to national and international case studies to supercharge your own creative thinking. The course will be packed with practical exercises and examples of national and international best practice.
