Workshop Trainer

Corrine Podger is an international media development consultant, digital journalism trainer and lecturer, delivering multimedia storytelling training across the full range of digital skillsets - online, social media, radio, television and print.

She is a qualified Thomson Reuters Foundation and BBC Media Action trainer. Corrine is highly experienced in journalism and digital storytelling learning design including face-to-face, online and e-learning as specified by the client.

Her clients include: BBC Media Action, Thomson Reuters Foundation, World Health Organisation, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, Financial Times UK, The Independent UK, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Fairfax Media, Journalism.Co.Uk, Price Waterhouse Coopers and RMIT University.

As well as teaching radio, TV, online and social media, she specialises in teaching smartphone content production for photography, radio, podcasts, social video and television. Since 2013, she has trained over 2500 journalists and communicators from dozens of countries to tell authentic, powerful stories affordably and effectively with a smartphone. She is an accredited 'Shoulderpod' Mojo Trainer.

Corrine is also a recognized thought leader on digital multimedia and mobile journalism. She writes about these issues for the European Journalism Observatory and speak regularly at conferences. She has also lectured in smartphone, multimedia and video journalism at universities and colleges in Australia, the UK and the United States.
