• Difference between programming and computer science

• Backend/Frontend/Servers/Database etc: what do these terms mean?

• Python/R/Java/Javascript/HTML/PHP: what are programming language?

       -What is common among them? What is different? Where are they used? Which ones are most useful for journalists?

• Use of tech in reporting: in news gathering, data analysis, open source intelligence (applications will be linked to fundamentals)

• Use of tech in news products: website, apps, CMS, editorial innovations.
