Rakesh Dubbudu is a wellknown transparency & Open Data Campaigner in India and also the founder of ‘FACTLY’, one of the well-known ‘Public Information/Data Journalism’ portals in India. He has been working on Right to Information (RTI) related issues for the last 13 years. Rakesh played a significant role in the launch of the ‘Open Data Policy’ by the Government of Telangana, and visiting faculty at various administrative training institutes of the state & central governments.

Rakesh brings immense experience in dealing with Government Data, Policy and various government related information. He has numerous awards & fellowships to his credit like the South & Central Asia Region Legislative Fellows Program of the US State Department, RTI Fellowship of Government of India, Distinguished Alumni award from his alma mater NIT Warangal.
