WAN-IFRA, in association with DataLEADS and supported by Google News Initiative (GNI) is pleased to offer a virtual 4-modules journalism training programme on 'Election reporting and verification' for journalists in South Asia. The training is offered in English and Bangla languages, separately. This programme will help journalists to use tools and techniques to verify news during their coverage of the elections.
The training will cover election reporting, tools and techniques for verification, and how to keep your online accounts safe and secure.

Who should attend?
Newsroom editors, chief of staff, senior reporters, journalists who want to know about election coverage, reporting and vertification processes can attend this programme.
Newsroom management who wish their employees to learn how to improve their skills in supporting and educating staff and build processes and policies about various verification process and social medial checks can nominate their staff.
Up to two participants per organisation may be accepted for this intensive training.
