Manon Verchot is a French-American journalist based in Delhi. She headed the Mobile and Video team at Hindustan Times. Manon has experience at The Quint, Outlook Magazine, ClimateWire, GroundTruth Project, Audubon Magazine and TreeHugger.com. Her work has been published in The Hindu, Mongabay India, Huffington Post, The GUardian, Scientific American and others.

In 2017, Manon and a team of two other journalists were awarded a Special Mention in the RedInk Awards for their coverage of how climate change has forced women to turn to sex work in West Bengal.

Manon has a masters from Columbia University and a bachelors from the University of Kent.
