Journalists from over a dozen news publications across Asia are pitting their data-driven journalism skills against one another. The top three entries will be invited to present their projects at the Covid-19 APAC Data Challenge showcase on Thursday 02 July 2020, 1030-1145h SIN/HK time. Online viewers will have the chance to ask them questions and vote to determine the winner in real-time!

Base your decision on the following criteria:

• Projects that best utilise data or data visualization to deliver the story.
• Consider how the data was acquired, processed and analyzed in the reporting process as well as the effectiveness of the data visualization in conveying journalistic findings of the project.

Competition participants have until Monday 22 June 1700h SIN/HK to submit their entries.

The three projects shortlisted for presentation will be announced on this site, on social media and via email blast to WAN-IFRA mailing list subscribers.
