This two-day workshop will introduce participants to key principles of change management, customized to the unique situation of journalism organizations and the most pressing needs of 21st-century news leaders. Participants will apply common organizational change management frameworks and methodologies to their own current business problems.

Participants should expect to draw heavily on their own experience and their organizations’ challenges during the workshop. (We will stress confidentiality within the group to facilitate open discussion, but participants should not feel obliged to share more than they are comfortable with.)

We will make heavy use of pair and group problem-solving -- for example, asking participants to team up and work on a problem together or solicit feedback from one another. There will also be opportunities for participants to get feedback from the workshop leader and the full group.
