Trust, Transparency and Personalisation – Building deeper relationships with your readers
WAN-IFRA is one of the partners (alongside a team of broadcasters, media companies and technology providers) working on the Content Personalisation Network CPN, a Horizon 2020 EU-funded project that is creating an innovative, transparent approach to personalise digital news content.
We launched the Content Personalisation Network project (CPN) over two years ago to develop a trustworthy solution for personalising digital news content. As the project reaches the end, we are delighted to invite media professionals interested in news personalisation to a webinar on Thursday 7 May at 3pm CET.
Join us to hear industry leaders discuss questions such as:
● What types of personalisation? What does personalisation mean for you?
● Why personalisation? What do we want to achieve?
● What are the effects in the current COVID-19 crisis?
● What about privacy and transparency?
● What are the challenges and how to overcome them?
Panelists:
● Swantje Fischenbeck, Innovation Management, Der Spiegel, Germany
● Jarno M. Koponen, Head of AI & Personalization, Yle News Lab, Finland
● Gordon Edall, Managing Director, Globe Labs, The Globe and Mail, Canada
● Ine van Zeeland, PHD Researcher on Privacy at imec-SMIT, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium
