Fernando is a passionate person around Digital and Entertainment Services. Being a Telecommunications Engineer, he joined Telefonica R&D Labs in 1995. He led many innovation projects in Video and Smart Home. In 2009 he co-founded the Global Video Unit to build a common product and content across Telefonica Group. Until 2017, he covered the entire value chain as Head of Marketing, Video Business Intelligence, Business development and Products. In 2017, he joined Huawei as Video Business Director for Europe and launched the Huawei Video service in Spain and Italy. Since Oct 2019, he is leading Petal Search in Europe, the new search engine developed by Huawei, and mainly responsible of the Business Operation and Ecosystem Development with TOP partners across all vertical industries in Europe.
