Jennifer Napier-Pearce is editor of The Salt Lake Tribune, Utah’s largest daily newspaper which won a Pulitzer Prize in 2017 and is the first legacy daily newspaper in the U.S. to transition from a for-profit company to a nonprofit. She joined The Tribune as a reporter in 2013; in 2016, she was named editor, becoming the first Pacific Islander and the second woman to lead the newsroom. Prior to her work at The Tribune, Jennifer worked in public radio as news director, anchor and reporter. Jennifer regularly moderates community events, has been an adjunct professor at the University of Utah and has guest lectured at numerous universities including the University of Pennsylvania and USC's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and a master's degree from Stanford University.
