North American Digital Media Awards 2021
Thank you to the 20+ companies that participated this year!
Congratulations to our winners!
WAN-IFRA’s North American Digital Media Awards honor news publishers that have delivered unique and original digital media projects in the past year.
Local, regional and national news media companies in the US and Canada are invited to present their most cutting-edge digital work.
Winners at the regional level will automatically compete for WAN-IFRA's 2021 World Digital Media Awards, the annual global competition among the editions in Africa, Asia, South Asia, Europe, Middle East, and Latin America.
"These awards are important because they encourage and recognize creativity and innovation in building media companies that meld first-rate editorial content with lasting, sustainable business models."

“We’re so thrilled and humbled to receive a WAN-IFRA award for best journalism project. More than 100 journalists spent more than a year tracking down healthcare workers who succumbed to covid 19 and this honor is a lasting tribute to their work and to the families who lost thousands of loved ones.”

“We are very proud to receive these nominations. As news publishers, our contents are meant to be produced and consumed at a very fast pace. Journalism awards like NADMA are opportunities to pause, to reflect on that work and to assess how it impacted our collective lives. It’s the greatest privilege to be recognized by our peers, especially coming from an organization that has an international reach.”
