She is also in charge of digital operations including editorial, product development, programmatic and network sales, ad operations, digital marketing, business analytics and web development.

Head of Audience Development, The Times and The Sunday Times

Ben is Head of Community and Digital Development at The Times and The Sunday Times. He works with a team of social media journalists to find and distribute stories and oversees a team of editorial developers who build tools and web applications to make it easier for journalists to tell stories.

He previously worked for the Guardian’s Professional Networks, writing about technology and social media in the public sector. He co-founded the media careers site Wannabe Hacks in 2010 and has completed a Masters in Newspaper Journalism from City University in London.

Daniel is deputy head of Group Strategy and Analytics at Singapore Press Holdings. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the group’s internal consulting, analytics and data science teams. His work involves strategy and analytics projects such as digital transformation, process optimisation and building a data-driven organisational culture. Daniel began his career as a business journalist before moving to corporate planning and business development roles. Daniel holds undergraduate degrees in computer science and management, and an MBA from the University of Cambridge.

Fai-keung Ng is a digital marketing and analytics leader with over 14 years of global work experience in the US, Singapore, Hong Kong and Germany. He’s joined AT Internet since 2014, where he manages and executes the Southeast Asia business plan with full responsibilities of Sales, Consulting, Marketing, Operations, HR, Legal, etc. for the region. At the global level, Fai is one of the key members of the product committee driving AT Internet’s product development. Before joining AT Internet, he worked with Yahoo for 8+ years and was one of the early practitioners of performance marketing, having launched the sponsored search solution for Yahoo’s international markets in EMEA and APAC from 2005-2008. After moving to Singapore, his responsibilities spread across all facets of Yahoo’s business in Southeast Asia.

Jack Riley is Commercial and Audience Development Director for The Huffington Post and AOL in the UK, looking after audience development and revenue growth for brands through editorial, product and data initiatives. He is also a '15 Harvard Nieman Foundation Visiting Fellow, producing a research paper on the future of content and wearables. He was previously Head of Digital Audience and Content Development for The Independent and Evening Standard.

Managing Editor, Die Welt, Germany

Kritsanarat Khunkham is managing editor at the German news outlet Die Welt which is part of the Axel Springer publishing house. In his position, which has held since 2011, Kritsanarat is in charge of running the newsroom and managing the website across all sections. In addition to that, he is responsible for the digital development and oversees a team of programmers who research and draft new ways of telling news and stories. Kritsanarat joined Axel Springer in 2008 and has since worked there as a reporter, video journalist and columnist.

McKinley Hyden is the Lead Data Analyst for Audience Engagement and works on strategic projects that support Editorial and engagement goals such as attracting new loyal users, improving the engagement of our current audience and being an audience-first newsroom. A key component of these goals has been the introduction of Lantern, an editorial analytics tool that McKinley has helped create and shape. Her key skills include addressing complex problems with robust data insight and clearly communicating findings to a variety of stakeholders.

Norman Goh is the social media editor of Malaysiakini and takes on the responsibility to strategise, plan and 'repackage' the stories with editors and journalists on various social media platforms. He is also part of the team involved in analysing data metrics on social media trends and behaviours in Malaysia.   An avid photographer and blogger since 2006, Norman started working with Malaysiakini since 2014 and represented Malaysia at one of the panels during UNAOC summit in 2014 where he spoke on harnessing the positive power of social media in news reporting. He was also among the co-founders of Sarawak Bloggers, a community of bloggers and social media influencers set up in 2010.

She has a master degree in Marketing Communication from London School of Public Relations, Jakarta. And now she is also a lecturer in Faculty of Communication, Multimedia Nusantara University, Tangerang, Indonesia.

Catherine Candano is responsible for strategic Data Partnerships at Google Asia Pacific. At Google since 2011, Cathy specializes on data-driven monetization growth and driving user-first content experiences, contributing as global program lead for publisher analytics.

Past 8 years before Google includes product management roles for Cathy in a leading SEA telecom company's mobile data business, as well as digital outreach on sustainable development across 40+ Asian countries with the United Nations in Thailand.
