Sergio Peçanha is a graphics and multimedia editor at The New York Times. He has worked on interactive and print pieces about a wide range of subjects, including the Syrian civil war, the nuclear deal between the United States and Iran and a wide range of breaking news subjects. Before New York, he was the graphics director of The Dallas Morning News, in Texas, and a designer at O Globo and Globo.com, in Brazil. His work has been recognize multiple times by the Malofiej, Society for News Design and Communication Arts.
