Digital Media Asia 2019
Message from the Hong Kong Tourism Board
With Digital Media Asia 2019 fast approaching, The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), together with all members of the tourism sector, stands ready to welcome you to Hong Kong.
At present, most tourist activities continue as usual. Tourist facilities such as convention centers, hotels, and attractions, such as theme parks, are not the target in any protests. Flights to and from Hong Kong International Airport are operating as normal, and access control measures are in place at the terminal buildings to ensure smooth operations of the airport. Departing visitors are recommended to allow extra time for relevant checks and arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before departure.
The HKTB and WAN-IFRA are in close communication and will provide the required assistance at any time to minimise disruption to Digital Media Asia delegates’ stay in Hong Kong in the event that unforeseen circumstances arise.
For assistance at Hong Kong International Airport, visitors are welcome to approach the two HKTB Visitor Centres in the arrival hall (in the buffer zones located behind the Customs) which are open 8am to 9pm daily.
Visitor safety in Hong Kong is of utmost importance. The HKTB is monitoring the situation closely and providing latest updates to visitors on a regular basis. Visitors are advised to check Discoverhongkong.com and contact the HKTB’s Visitor Service Centres at the airport, call the Hotline at +852 2508-1234 or use the website’s Live Chat (available 9am - 6pm daily) for the latest information and assistance.
