Gard Steiro is a Norwegian journalist and editor. In 2016 Steiro was appointed editor-in-chief and CEO of VG, Norway´s leading digital media house. With 2.5 million daily users cross platforms VG reaches half of the population in Norway.  Steiro started as a reporter. The last ten years he has held several leader positions in different media companies. From 2011 to 2015 Steiro was chief editor of Bergens Tidende, the largest regional newspaper in Norway.  Steiro is a member of the management team in Schibsted Media that owns and runs a large number of newspapers and digital startups in Scandinavia.

Esra has significant experience in digital transformation across news and current affairs, particularly in social video and off platform growth and development. With over 20 yrs of rich experience, Arpan Chatterjee currently leads the digital media business for Printers mysore, Prior to this he was with THG publishing, then Chief Sales and Marketing officer at Dainik Jagran newspaper, one of the largest media brand in India. Earlier, he also headed the inside sales & marketing across North America and Asian Marketings for eBay partner company. He was also part of the start up team at Webdunia.com, the first Indian language Internet portal  & technology services.

Moris has worked with Kompas Gramedia since June 2017, with the role as VP Digital Sales. He overviews Kompas Gramedia Digital Assets from Kompas, Tribunnews, Grid Networks. Previously he had worked in Digital ad networks company since 2007 from Admax, Appier, and Exponential group acting from Business Director to Country Head. He worked also previously with Fox International Channels as Director for Sales and Partnerships.

He got his MSc from European School of Management at Cote’d Azur, France majoring Project Management, and BSc from University of Oregon Majoring Economics.

Tajdin is a passionate, creative and result driven leader with strong understanding of marketing technologies and trends, data analytics and business strategy. He possesses extensive marketing, strategic planning, project management and business development experience across media, telecoms, Oil & gas, courier & logistics and fast moving consumer goods industries. He has also worked for flagship brands like BAT, Chevron, Robi Axiata ltd and DHL Express ltd. As a marketing head of the leading English Daily, The Daily Star (www.tahedailystar.net), currently he is responsible for managing the portfolio of advertisement, digital media, circulation and brand marketing.

 

He represented The Daily Star in World News Congress in Washington DC and Digital Media Congress in Hong Kong. Tajdin is also a successful Google Squared (The digital marketing leadership course

CEO, The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Bhd

Datuk Abdul Jalil Abdul Hamid was appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Berhad effective March 2017.

Jalil was the Group Managing Editor of NSTP since October 2011. At the NSTP, he is in charge of the overall content policy and management of the print division of the Media Prima group. He runs the editorial department of the NSTP group and oversees the print and digital content of the three newspapers of the group.  

Prior to this, he set up and headed the National Communications Team, a special unit under the Prime Minister’s Office. The Unit was set up to help spearhead strategic communications advice and planning for the government.
