How AI can help you provide value to your audience. Lessons from the JournalismAI Collab
AI in journalism is not just a buzzword: it's already employed across the news making process. How might news organisations find new ways to use AI to add value to the journalism they produce?
The JournalismAI Collab – short for "collaborative experiment – was designed as a space for journalists from across the world to explore this question together and imagine innovative solutions.
In this session, Collab participants from three different teams will share what they are learning about the potential of automated summaries to unlock the hidden potential of evergreen articles,
algorithms to optimise content recommendation engines, and how AI might support the gamification of user engagement. JournalismAI is a project of POLIS – the journalism think-tank of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) – supported by the Google News Initiative.Moderator
