SANI PASS & LESOTHO DAY TOUR

On arrival in Underberg you will transfer over to a 4X4 vehicle which will be taking you up the mountain pass and into the country of Lesotho. You will pass through the Drakensberg National Park (uKhuhlamba), a world heritage site. 

This is due to its unique bird, plant and animal species. But also the some 50 000 rock art sites that are found throughout the mountain range in caves and over hangs. These were made by the San or Bushmen people the true indigenous people of Southern Africa.

ORIBI GORGE DAY TOUR

Travel down the South Coast and then inland to the Oribi gorge, a million year old gorge cut by the Umzinkulwana River, 400m deep and 4km at its widest point. The total length is 27kms long, starting at ‘Hells Gate’.

You will enter Lake Eland Reserve, various animals can be observed, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest and other antelope. Then enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the gorge, walk over the suspension bridge and try the crows nest! There is also an excellent zip-line for the adrenaline seekers with the longest line crossing the gorge in 400m height and about 300m long.

UMFOLOZI BIG 5 GAME RESERVE

Enjoy the Big 5 experience and travel to the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve, the oldest Game Park in Africa. All the wildlife and bird species Africa has to offer can be found here, including the Big 5 of elephant, buffalo, lion, rhino and leopard. Endangered species cheetah and wild dog.

Expect to see the more common game such as, zebra, antelope, rhino, giraffe and buffalo, with a chance to view lion, leopard, elephant and hyena in their natural habitat.

CITY TOUR

Being a coastal city, Durban is constantly affected by the warm Mozambique current flowing down its coastline, making surfing one of the primary activities on the many beaches.

With our City Tour you will be picked up at your hotel whereby your guide will drive you around the exciting city of Durban. Learn about the sights and the history of this multi-cultured place. Take a ride to the top of the arch on the new Moses Mabihda Stadium, with the most spectacular views of Durban and also visit Ushaka and Wilson Warf at the harbour.

Depart after breakfast and enter the Eastern Shores Reserve where you will enjoy a game drive. Rhino, buffalo, plenty of antelope and even the occasional leopard is seen.

The spectacular views and 100′s of bird species are what really make it special though. Arrive at Cape Vidal where you will enjoy some beach time and snorkelling.

WHALE & DOLPHIN WATCHING EXPERIENCE

From May to November whales and dolphins are on their journey to the warmer Mozambique waters. You can experience a 2 hours cruise from Wilsons Wharf in Durban Harbor. The BAFANA semi rigid rubber inflatable boat has space for 11 passengers. Cost for single person (max. 10 person in a group) R1050, for larger group (max.40 person) it will cost R850. Shuttle will be provided for a small fee of R100 per person and should be booked ahead.
